GRIID ENGENHARIA
Griid Engenharia is a family run business that builds high-end houses for people who wants to relax on the beach or on the countryside.
THE INICIAL CHALLENGE
Renato Araujo and Cristina Mohallem had run their business for almost 30 years, and they needed to expand their activities to a city 200 km away from their branch. I joyned them in order to create an operational infrastructure for the businesses new venture.
A BIG PROJECT
After joyning the company, I soon realized that we would have to make sound changes in the business. The development of the project had 3 pillars.
BUSINESS
The 30 years old business needed a complete restructuring in the adminstrative, human resources, tributary and project management areas.
BRANDING
In order to prepare the business for future succession, a detachment of the partners image and names was an important step down the road.
DESIGN
The building proccess is, at the same time, a dream coming through and a total nightmare. The customer journey mapping and service redesign were crucial points for success.
MY ROLES
I was the leader in this business transformation from July 2011 until December 2017. I worked really close with the administrative people, the engineering and operations people and the outsourced lawyers and accountants.
Some activities I was responsible for:
– Diagnosing the operational, administrative, tributary and project management problems
– Proposing and implement solutions for all of them
– Planning and designing a new brand
– Implementing the new brand and visual identity
– Mapping out the building and customer journeys
– Redesigning service experiences
