RASPADITAS | EXPANSION 2018
Well, we can´t still call it a big venture, but after running a MVP and learning a lot from it, we were ready to operate for real in Guarujá. Licencing was a pretty big issue, since we found out the activity was informally prohibited since 1983, but we put together a plan and convinced the local authorities that they had to rethink the issue. We also opened up a concept store, a place that we could try out new flavors and products.

ROLES
I shared with my new partner the leadership of the expansion plan. He was mainly dedicated on the operational and supply chain modeling while I worked on the strategic and product concepts.
The main activities I was responsible for:
– Product development (recipes, flavors etc)
– Providers development
– Photoshoots directing
– Brand design and identity
– Staffing
– Store visual concept
Activities we shared:
– Strategic decisions
– Cost analysis
– Third party operation modeling
– Financial modeling
– Controlling

LOCAL PITCH
In October 2017 we had the opportunity to perform a local pitch in the municipal theatre, so the local authorities (and the citizens) could get to know our venture, and approve the licensing for operating at the beaches.

BUSINESS REMODELING
We revised our business and value proposition models from the MVP phase incorporating the knowledge we acquired. As we understood that our cart was ready for doing on demand bar services in a range of social events, we also modeled this business unit.
